Wild Things Rescue Race is a 5k/10k on December 5, 2020 starting at 9 a.m. at Lake Olmstead Trailhead. All funds raised will benefit Where The Wild Things Are Rescue a 501(c)3 non-profit and licensed all-breed dog rescue composed of a network of fosters and volunteers who work together to rescue and rehabilitate sweet, loving, adoptable dogs from Augusta, GA and surrounding areas.
We specialize in rescuing and rehabilitation of Pit-Bull and Guardian dog breeds (Rottweilers, Mastiffs, Dobermans etc.) although no dog is too big or small for our hearts. What makes us different is we are a small and intimate organization who takes time with each of our rescues and adopters to ensure every Wild Thing is perfectly matched for their fur-ever home and fur-ever life with you.
